The Risen Christ

We offered Jesus Christ to God as a sacrifice,
Upon the burning brass altar of the cross,
For our sins, transgressions, iniquities, and trespasses,
Like a hopeless sinner, doomed to die.

But God raised Him from the dead,
The Lord—first fruits of resurrection.

O Lord of Life, You are the dazzling light of hope,
Piercing through the dark chaos of this world.

O Lord of Glory, You opened an overwhelming era,
Two thousand years ago, redeeming us as ransom.

When You were crucified as a sinner,
Your beloved disciples fled in fear.
Even God, Your Father, turned away in that moment of atonement—
You stood utterly forsaken, drowning in agony.

Yet when Mary Magdalene found the empty tomb,
She was speechless with sorrow and grief.
But when she beheld You alive, among the praises of angels,
She was awestruck by the miracle of God—
 

The Lord has risen from the dead!

Your triumph over death rekindled Mary’s joy,
You quenched her thirst for eternal life
With overflowing, living water.
Your glorious resurrection moved her to tears—
So deep, so profound.

Her ecstasy at Your victory
Now blossoms in our own souls,
Radiant and full, renewing our spirit—
A fragrance of pure white lilies,
A fragrance of Your boundless love.

The miracle of Your resurrection
Overflows our hearts with joy and peace.

Jesus Christ is risen! He is alive! We are forgiven!
Forevermore—Hallelujah!
